The Dr. Pen A9 device offers high motor stability and smooth vertical movement, making it a strong choice for pore refinement treatments. Three cartridge types are included to offer graded cosmetic stimulation. The 18-pin cartridge provides gentle refinement suitable for beginners or mild texture concerns. Start with a gel or foaming cleanser to remove oil, sunscreen, and surface buildup. Pat the skin dry without rubbing.
For mild texture or first-time users, choose the 18-pin cartridge.
For T-zone roughness or visible pores, use the 24-pin cartridge.
For areas needing deeper cosmetic refinement, such as the nose, cheeks, or forehead, use the 36-pin cartridge with light pressure.
Spread a thin layer of serum across the face. This provides glide for the device and prevents dryness during microneedling.
Turn on the Dr. Pen A9 and use slow, gentle motions. Glide the device in vertical, horizontal, and diagonal directions. Avoid pressing down, especially on areas prone to congestion or irritation.
After using the device, apply one mask:
